The Shuttle lets you fast forward or rewind at speeds up to 32 times faster or slower.
How to use it
Click on the Shuttle and move the mouse to the left to rewind, and to the right to fast forward. The farther you move the mouse the faster it will go. Hold down the Option key for slow motion. If you hold down the Command key, it will "lock" the speed when you let go of the mouse. You can use the Shuttle whether a sound is playing or not. If a sound is not playing and no part of the sound is selected, the cursor will be left at the point shuttling stops. The Shuttle speed is set in the "Sound Out" Preferences with the Rewind and Fast Forward settings.
